What a great weekend painting in La Jolla!
I love painting the Sea and sharing the experience
with eager students.
We painted all day Saturday it was perfect, Sunday
though we were hit with an unexpected summer thunder
storm so we took a break to see the Sorolla Exhibit
near by in San Diego until it cleared.
It was a great exhibit of Sorolla's work and it definitely
inspired my students when we headed back down to the
beach to finish our afternoon painting session.
